Step away from the noise—and let your system come down.

For helpers, truth speakers, leaders, and people carrying the

weight of constant connection.

Spend a half-day in intentional silence designed to reset your nervous system, quiet mental noise, and restore your capacity to keep doing meaningful work in the world.

Join us for a Half-Day Silent Retreat
→ No phones
→ No pressure to talk
→ No performing

Just space to reset.

Spend six hours in intentional silence designed to:
• Reset your nervous system
• Quiet mental noise
• Restore your capacity to keep doing

meaningful work in the world

silence is not escape. It is nervous system strategy.

The world is using strategy to keep you activated.

This is your strategy to come back to yourself.

INTENTIONS

Promote wellness, compassion, and space for this day. Quiet the negative inner voice that inhibits peace and happiness. Give yourself the tools to reduce stress and deepen your practice. Invite yourself to a half-day of silence to journey inward - in community, nourish the body, mind & spirit with:

Zen Meditation

Walking Meditation

Journaling

Gazing Meditation (Trataka)

Mindful Tremoring

Nourishing Snack

This isn’t about doing nothing.

It’s about letting your body finally finish what it started.

When the noise drops, your nervous system gets a chance to:

  • Come out of constant activation
  • Process stored stress
  • Settle into a more regulated state

Sometimes that looks like stillness.
Sometimes it looks like release.

Why silence works?

Your nervous system cannot fully reset while constantly taking in information.

Silence removes the input.

And when input drops… your system can:

  • Slow down
  • Reorganize
  • Release tension
  • Restore energy

Silence isn’t empty.
It’s active recovery.

FAQs

Do I need meditation experience to attend?

Not at all. This retreat is designed for both beginners and experienced practitioners. If you’ve been curious about silent retreats but long periods of silence feel intimidating, this is a supportive introduction.

Can I bring my phone?

Phones will be silenced and put away during the retreat. This is part of the practice—creating space away from constant notifications, phone checking, news cycles, and digital demands.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Age 18 and over required. Content is developmentally appropriate for adults.

What can I bring into the event?

You are invited to bring your favorite mug, blankets, yoga mat, and water bottle. Dress in layers. Also, feel free to bring your journal if this is a practice for you. You are welcome to bring meditation cushions (Zafu), pedestals, benches, blankets, supports -- anything that will make your practice comfortable.

What exactly happens during a silent retreat?

During the retreat, participants agree to honor a shared space of silence. This means refraining from talking, texting, phone use, or engaging with others during the silent portion.

The time will include guided meditation, quiet reflection, and nervous system rest. At the end of the retreat, we will break silence together and move into a reflection conversation.

How long will we actually be silent?

The retreat is half-day, and the majority of that time will be held in silence. Silence is easier when it’s shared in a supportive environment, and you’ll be guided throughout the experience.

Is this a religious retreat?

No. This retreat is secular and accessible to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. The focus is on nervous system restoration, mindfulness, and intentional quiet.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
